This week's SoConDi meeting, will be a Q&A with Professor Alison Cornish from Romance Languages and Literatures about her new Cambridge University Press book, Vernacular Translation in Dante's Italy: Illiterate Literature. This book explores themes about translation in the 13th and 14th centuries, and therefore necessarily has to face issues in language contact. Come share in the exploration of the interface between linguistics and literature.
In order to participate in the discussion, those who will attend are asked to read the introduction, and chapters 1 and 6 of Prof. Cornish's book. More information is available from Tridha Chatterjee.
