Jon is interested in phonetics and phonology. His Qualifying Research Paper investigated English speakers' production of vowel-to-vowel coarticulation in a clarification task. He is now doing research on the articulatory dynamics and perceptual recoverability of consonant clusters in Modern Greek. He received his BA Linguistics and German from UC Berkeley.
