Cameron is currently a 2011 NSF Graduate Research Fellow in Linguistics researching speech perception and production using acoustic analysis and ultrasound. He is also interested in the neurobiology of speech and the neuro-imaging techniques used to analyze these processes, namely fMRI and fNIRS.
In 2009, Cameron was a U.S. Fulbright Research Fellow to Estonia where he researched Russian-English bilingualism. He graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Washington in 2009 with a BA in Russian and Linguistics.
