Ann Arbor Summer Festival
2003 marks the 20th
anniversary season of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. For three
weeks in June and July
the Summer Festival
offers a series of outdoor and indoor musical, theatrical, comedic,
and cinematic events, located one block from the IALLT conference
location. Each night “The Top of the Park” provides
free musical performances and a featured popular movie, held
in a carnival-like atmosphere complete with snack booths and
beer gardens. Ticketed events are held in the adjacent Ann Arbor
Power Center, a 1380-seat performance hall, that hosts an exceptional
series of music, theater, and comedy acts throughout the Summer
Festival.
