Preferred Admissions
Preferred Admissions
LSA and several professional schools and colleges of the University of Michigan have developed a program for a limited number of highly qualified entering first-year students that guarantees admission to specific professional programs.

Architecture Preferred Admission
A program directed toward a limited number of highly-qualified entering freshmen who are interested in transferring to the Architecture Program during their junior year to obtain the Bachelor of Science degree.

Business Administration Preferred Admission
Selected student will be given a set of requirements to meet during their freshman year. If met, the student will automatically be transferred into the Ross School of Business at the end of their freshman year.

School of Information Preferred Admissions
The School of Information (SI) admits a limited number of students each year to the preferred admissions program leading to admission to its graduate program.

Pharmacy Preferred Admissions
College of Pharmacy cooperates with the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LS&A) in a program to guarantee admission to the Pharm.D. program to a limited number of highly qualified entering freshmen.

Preferred Admissions to Social Work
The School of Social Work will admit a limited number of students each year to the Preferred Admissions Program leading to a Master of Social Work (MSW).
