A student may be interested in a joint degree
program with another school or college, even if the College has not
officially established a joint degree program with the other unit.
Such joint degree programs are planned through the Academic
Standards Board. At least 150 credits are required for an
individualized joint degree, including at least 100 credits of LSA
courses. For a B.G.S., degree the 100 credits would have to include
at least 40 upper-level credits.
A minimum of 30 credits must have been
completed on the Ann Arbor campus before a student may apply for an
individualized joint degree program, and the cumulative grade point
average for work completed on the Ann Arbor campus must be 3.0 or
better. The Academic Standards Board must approve any exception to
these requirements.
Students who have been admitted to the BBA
program in the School of Business School and who have also
completed significant LSA course work in a concentration may
discuss an individualized joint degree program with the Business
School. Application may be obtained from the Advising Center in
1255 Angell Hall or by clicking here.
