Although employment, financial aid, and scholarships can often be limited and more difficult to arrange for International Students, below are resources to help you.
For general information on employment, see the International Center (Visa: J-1 or F-1). Two types of temporary employment available to International Students are Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT).
The Career Center has information on jobs, internships, resume writing, interview techniques, grad school and more. The letter reference file is also located here.
Although funding is limited, the Office of Financial Aid does administer some private scholarships for International Students, as well as CitiAssist loans.
You should not miss LSA Scholarship Info if you are in need of financial help.
Looking for a job? The Student Employment Office is the place to go.
