eMploy - Applicant Management System
In the spring of 2006, University Human Resources (UHR) launched eMploy, an automated job posting and employment system. eMploy was developed in order to give hiring supervisors and managers assistance with their hiring needs and to give applicants the ability to easily apply for open positions.

A key advantage of eMploy is that it links all aspects of the hiring process. Managers view the submitted resumes online. When a candidate is selected, a flow of standardized communications takes place, from offer letters to welcome letters to uniqname selection. When a new employee arrives at orientation, many steps have already been accomplished electronically on the individual’s behalf.

Each LSA departments has at least one individual designated as a “Hiring Manager” who has the ability to post openings, view resumes, and create offers. A staff member in LSA HR is responsible for approving postings and offers and can provide assistance. UHR and MAIS provide training via on-line tutorials and additional training aids.
