Home > Students > Student Guides > International Student Guide > Frequently Asked Questions > FAQs - Cross-campus transfer FAQs - Cross-campus transfer How do I transfer to the School of Business? If I don’t get accepted to the Business School, can I apply again next year? No. How do I transfer to the School or Engineering or any other undergraduate school on campus? Is it too late to try for the Engineering School? Much depends on the classes you’ve taken so far, and your GPA. Make an appointment to talk to your advisor, and to an advisor from the College of Engineering, to accurately assess your options. Can I get a teaching certificate? Do I need to transfer to the School of Education to get a teaching certificate? It’s not necessary to transfer if you want to get a Secondary Education certificate. Consult the School of Education web site (http://www.soe.umich.edu/) and the LSA Bulletin for more information. If you want to teach Elementary School, you need to transfer to the School of Education. You should attend a School of Education information session, and meet with an Education advisor in the Advising Center.
