Preparing for Graduation
Letter to Seniors (coming soon)

Applying for Graduation
Students who have completed 85 Credits Toward Program (CTP) hours should apply on-line for graduation in Wolverine Access. Degree candidates also should submit a completed Concentration Release Form for each of their concentrations and a Minor Release Form for each of their minors to the Academic Auditors Office.

Commencement Information
There are three graduation dates every year, in May, August, and December, but only two commencement ceremonies (May and December). August graduates are automatically eligible to participate in either the May or the December ceremonies. A Commencement Book is distributed at each ceremony, listing the names of all degree recipients. Further information about tickets, required attire, etc. is available at the University Development Commencement Information website.

Diploma Information
Your diploma will be mailed to the permanent address you provided online in the application for graduation. You should allow 8-10 weeks from the time you receive your verification of graduation letter for your diploma to arrive.

Degrees with Distinction
Degrees with distinction are awarded based on rank in class: top 25% (distinction), 10%(high distinction), and 3% (highest distinction), and is subject to change every year based on the cummulative GPAs of the LSA May class.

After Graduation
No matter how busy you are being a student, there’s still life after your B.S. (or B.A. or B.G.S.). As you start thinking about completing your LSA degree, you’ll presumably begin making plans for whatever comes next. Will it be a job, grad school, travel, volunteering?
