Wolverineaccess.umich.edu is an electronic information service for students to use to access their academic record and general University information. Through http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu students are able to register for classes, access their unofficial transcript, obtain a copy of their class schedule, process address changes, check for class availability (open and closed classes, waitlisted classes), check their term grades, verify their student account, and obtain their registration appointment time. Students need a Uniqname and UM Kerberos password to use wolverineaccess.umich.edu.
Registration Appointments
Students can access http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu to find out their assigned appointment time. The appointment that a student is assigned is a start time: students register anytime, 7 a.m. to midnight, after this start time. http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu allows students to add, drop, modify, waitlist and drop a waitlist. Students who register for a term and then decide not to attend should access http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu and disenroll from the academic term before the first day of class.
Print-out
Students are held responsible for the accuracy of their elections. Any changes made to the schedule must be made by the student through wolverineaccess.umich.edu; the instructor cannot handle this process for the student.
They should check for accuracy and completeness (e.g., P/F, properly numbered sections).
- Students need to be sure that a course has been modified properly.
- The accuracy of the Pass/Fail (P/F) designation is particularly important since, after open drop/add, a course cannot be changed from graded to P/F or vice versa.
- Students should ensure that they have no unexpected time conflicts.
Most students can access their schedules at anytime, anywhere (with a computer). Students are encouraged to access http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu to confirm their schedule. A copy of the schedule can also be printed from wolverineaccess.umich.edu.
How to Register for Classes New students register for classes during Orientation. Continuing students who are already registered for the current term will be assigned a pre-registration "appointment time" by the Registrar, sometime around the 10th week of the term.
