Fellowships and Summer Programs
Summer Prep Programs
Summer Prep Programs may be hosted by a group of law schools (CLEO) or a single law school but both intend to prepare the student for the very rigorous legal education ahead. Some programs are “conditional admits” as minimum grades are required for admission to the fall class. Other programs guarantee fall admission but summer course attendence is a condition of admission.

Summer Pre-Law Programs
These programs are opportunities to do an internship with practicing attorneys in the US with no UM credit awarded but experience gained. Other options are study abroad experiences with course work in policy or legal issues while earning college credit.

Alumni Fellowships
The program seeks outstanding individuals from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds who are interested in the administration of justice and making a contribution to the judiciary.
