SOPHOMORE year is an exciting time for exploring concentrations and minors as well as possible career interests. If during your first year in LSA you took classes in subjects you found truly engaging, you'll want to take additional courses in those subjects as well as explore areas you've not encountered. Your academic advisor is a great resource for helping you choose a concentration. And don't be shy about contacting academic departments to ask about their concentrations and opportunities.

This winter, be sure to check out Advise Me Weekly and attend the LSA Academic Advising Concentration Fair and related events the week of March 24th.  Visit the Office of International Programs and the Career Center to make sure you are making the most of your opportunities at UM!
