LS&A Software Licensing (SWL) provides access to
software for faculty and staff of the
College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. But SWL provides much more than
mere access. The SWL team provides LS&A with the following services:

Research and Negotiate new Software Licenses for LS&A
and individual departments

Save departments money by consolidating/renegotiating
current department software licenses

Work with other Colleges and Departments at the
University to
reduce the cost of licenses in LS&A

Maintain communication with LS&A users on current SWL
projects, updates and negotiations

Provide training information on LS&A software

Assist users in locating the “perfect” application for
any given situation

Educate users on Software Licensing Compliance and relative
legal issues
