Configures Kerberos for the UMICH.EDU realm.OpenAFS-changes: Download (.zip)
Install this package AFTER you've already installed the stock OpenAFS package. The most recent OpenAFS package can be found in the release candidates, but be sure to check out http://www.openafs.org for updates.The OpenAFS-changes.pkg makes the necessary changes to the stock OpenAFS package for use in the umich.edu AFS cell. It will also configure Kerberos to automatically obtain an AFS token when getting a Kerberos ticket. Note that due to a bug in the Kerberos plugin support, this feature is broken. To work around this, the OpenAFS-changes pkg utilizes a launchd Agent to get a ticket during login, and also installs an 'aklog' applescript on the user's desktop and in the Utilities folder. Additionally, an AFS-control applescript is added to the Utilities folder to control the startup configuration for AFS, which is particularly useful for laptops where you don't want AFS running all the time.
