LSA IT provides walk-in service at several locations across central campus. You can visit any of these offices.
LSA IT Service Desk
LSA IT’s service desk and main office are located in suite 1122 of the LSA building, 500 S. State St. (between the Kelsey Museum and Michigan Union, across the street from Angell Hall).
When entering the lobby from the State St. (east) entrance, walk past the stairs and elevator, turn right and walk to the end of the hall.
When entering from the Maynard St. (west) entrance, walk past the Office of New Student Programs on your left, then turn left and walk to the end of the hall.
The service desk and main office hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.
Regional Service Desks
LSA IT also has several regional help desks around Central Campus:
- The Computing and Technology Support (CaTS) office is located in Room 2428 of Randall Laboratory, 450 Church St.
- The East Hall Technical Services (EHTS) office is located in Room 1069 East Hall, 530 Church St.
- Research Support North (RSN) has two offices. Their west office (formerly known as BioIT) is located in Room 1116 of the Kraus Building, 830 N. University Ave. and their east office (formerly known as NuIT) is located in Room A541 in the basement of the Chemistry Building, 930 N. University Ave.
All of the regional help desks are open 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, except that CaTS closes for lunch between 12:00pm and 1:00pm.
