There is often construction on the University of Michigan campus, especially in the summertime... and this summer has been no exception. Back on May 19th our office suite (1112 LSA) closed for renovations and we were all temporarily relocated to several other spaces around campus (as discussed previously).
It's been 2 months since our last update and we wanted to provide one.
For the Rest of the Summer
The LSAIT Service Desk had moved to 1100 LSA into the space normally occupied by the Office of New Student Programs (ONSP). Unfortunately for us, ONSP needs their space back before 1112 LSA is ready for occupancy, so on Friday, August 1st, we'll be moving the LSA Service Desk from 1100 LSA upstairs to 3159 LSA. We will move only one phone/computer station at a time to prevent service interruptions. They will still answer calls at 734.936.3279.
The Advocacy and Research Support (ARS) and Infrastructure teams will remain in their current temporary locations. All of our individual and group email addresses will remain the same, and we will continue to respond to requests and trouble tickets. Nothing should change in terms of email.

After the Renovations
The renovations are on schedule to be completed in mid to late August and we plan to move back in the 1112 LSA suite as soon as that's done. All telephone and walk-in services will be back to pre-renovation levels of support. For walk-in service, the LSAIT Service Desk will once again be immediately inside the doors as you enter our suite.
