Purpose

The Academic Affairs Committee's mission is to give students a voice within the administration, and a chance to make the academic experience at Michigan as beneficial as it can possibly be. This committee works on a variety of projects, all of which are academically focused. Some of our current projects include:

  • Improving the relationship between students and their concentration departments
  • Creating a greater integration between academics and the campus climate
  • Holding dialogues once a semester between students and faculty to discuss academic issues
  • Improving study abroad opportunities
  • Working with the administration to develop internship for credit options for undeclared students

We are always looking for new members. Come and let us know what you would like to change about your education.
