Winter 2013 Art and Writing Contest: Translation

Art Contest:

Do you like creating art? Can art be used to show issues of race? If you answered yes to both, you should submit a piece of artwork to the LSA SG Theme Semester Art Contest!

We are currently accepting all types of art including paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, and music. Information about the contest is available on the LSA SG website. All entries can be submitted to the LSA SG office (G325 Mason Hall) or in electronic format to lsasgartcontest@gmail.com.

Writing Contest: “How do you translate justice?"

How does race affect you? How can you change how others think about race issues? If you have ideas for answers for either of these questions, you should submit an essay to our LSA SG Translation Theme Semester Writing Contest. You can turn it into the LSA SG office (G325 Mason Hall) or in electronic format to lsathemesemesterwritingconest@gmail.com.
