In Fall 2010, the Department of Mathematics supplied scholarships to 55 students in the amount of $166,033.38; of these students 17 were first year students who had committed to Mathematics but had not yet officially declared.
M.S. Keeler Department of Mathematics Merit Scholarships
Award Amount: $1,000–$5,000 per year for up to 4 years.
Number Awarded: The number of Keeler Merit Scholarships awarded varies depending on the number of qualified students.
Award Criteria: Prospective students presenting outstanding mathematical talent as evidenced by coursework and competitions and/or Current Undergraduates presenting outstanding mathematical talent as evidenced by coursework and competitions; must major in Mathematics.
Deadline: The first weekday every May. Scholarships are awarded for the following academic year.

Margaret S. Huntington Award in Actuarial Outreach
Award Amount: $1,000
Number Awarded: Up to 10, depending on the qualifications and accomplishments of the applicant pool.
Award Criteria: First and second year students, at most second term in residence, with a grade of A- or better in the following courses in the Fall of 2013: 115,116, 156,176, 185, 215, 285, 295. Must complete an essay with the application form
Deadline: Friday, February 14, 2014.
