Brooke Gibbard
Horticulture Technician

Horticulture technician Brooke Gibbard helps grow and maintain plants for the Conservatory, Botanical Gardens, and Arboretum, and assists the Natural Areas team with invasive species removal, prescribed burning, brush clearing and trail maintenance. Brooke has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources Education from Michigan State University, and formerly worked for Michigan State University’s Plant Biology Teaching Conservatories and AgBioResearch Plant Science Greenhouses. Brooke is a passionate naturalist and an active volunteer in urban agriculture and education.
