Denice Virgo

Denice is a native of the Upper Peninsula, and has lived in southeastern Michigan for most of her adult life. She received a B.S. in elementary education from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan. She served to protect the rights of children and adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities during her social work career. Following her retirement from Washtenaw County, Denice enjoyed volunteering at MBGNA on the Hort Team in 2015 She later began working on Visitors Services Team in the fall of 2015. Denice is the proud mother of three daughters and four "grands."
