Smell the rosemary in the Herb Knot Garden. Stroll along the Huron River in the Arb on Sundays. Watch turtles sun on a log in our constructed wetland. Picnic by the Peony Garden in the summer. Escape winter's gray in the Conservatory.

The University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum are about connecting people with nature. We're about sustaining the earth. We're about caring for our natural heritage. We're about sharing knowledge and promoting learning.

We need you more than ever to help us continue this vital work. You're probably already doing your part as a conservationist. You recycle. You turn down your heat in the winter. You walk instead of drive. Now we're asking you to do more, become a member and help sustain the Arb and Gardens so these places can sustain you!
