50 Shades of Green
A Dynamic Look at the Color of Nature
Holiday Exhibit at Matthaei
Sat., Nov. 30–Sun., Jan. 5
Ever take green for granted? Green is the color of nature but there’s more to it than meets the eye. Using examples from the conservatory’s collection and touching on art, science, psychology, research, environmental issues, literature, and even humor, 50 Shades of Green illuminates the many meanings of “green.”
The exhibit also features seasonal flower displays, inspirational ideas for holiday tree decorating, interpretative stations, an exhibit of student and community art inspired by the color green, holiday items for sale in the Garden Store, and more. Free admission. Open daily 10 am-4:30 pm; Wednesday until 8.
