- Eco-Restoration Workdays - Matthaei Botanical Gardens
Enjoy and learn about the beautiful natural areas at Matthaei Botanical Gardens as you contribute to our restoration efforts. Education and tools provided. Individuals welcome to drop-in; groups register in advance. Volunteers under age 18 must submit a permission form prior to participation; those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Questions? All invited to a slide show on the 20th World Bromeliad Conference held Sept. 24 - Oct. 1, 2012. The conference included sales, a rare plant auction, seminars, tours, and bromeliad collectors and growers from all over the world.
