In spring, Matthaei and the Arb burst into life. Over 20,000 daffodils in a line emerge and bloom at the Arb The fragrance of lilacs is on the air. Woody plants show off their flowers and the peonies peak in June.

  • Student Farm Harvest Festival

    All students, staff, faculty, family, friends, and community members are invited to an evening of food, music, friends, and fun in celebration of the student farm and sustainable food at the University of Michigan. A free shuttle will be available from Central Campus to Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Presented by University of Michigan Sustainable Food Program (UMSFP). Info: umsfp.com
