Enjoy and learn about the beautiful natural areas at Nichols Arboretum as you contribute to our restoration efforts. Education and tools provided. - Feast! - A Cross-Cultural Culinary Tour of Plants Around the World
From cinnamon in Sri Lanka to figs in ancient Rome, the winter exhibit takes a look at how plants have played an essential role in celebrations and cooking, especially during the holiday season. Activities during the exhibit include a visit from Father Christmas, food event, music on Nov. 24, seasonal flower display, member sale, kids activities, and more.

- A Visit with Father Christmas
Kids and parents, don't miss your chance to visit with Father Christmas in the conservatory at Matthaei Botanical Gardens today. Event is free and open to all. Warm up in the tropical setting and enjoy our conservatory exhibit, Feast. Conservatory open 7 days a week 10 am-4:30 pm; until 8 pm Wednesdays. Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and New Year's Eve; open New Year's Day 10 am-4:30 pm. Free conservatory admission.

- Holiday Greens Workshop
Create your own wreath or bring a vase to make a greens arrangement at this annual greens workshop. Materials for a wreath or arrangement provided. Bring your own clippers to trim greens.
