This impressive century plant is one of several agaves in the Arid House at the Botanical Gardens. At over 70 years old, we are still waiting for its first bloom.

  • The Garden of India - Conservatory Exhibit at Matthaei
    A conservatory exhibit in conjunction with the U-M College of Literature, Science and the Arts' winter 2014 theme semester, "India in the World" that reveals the culture and people of India through its botany and horticulture. Also inlcudes an exhibit of community- and student-contributed photographs of India. Free admission; open daily.
