Tours of the Conservatory and trails at Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum are available throughout the academic year. The tours are led by trained interpretive guides and help you to reach Michigan education benchmarks (MEAP) in science, math, or social studies. The tours cover a variety of topics including basic botany, ecosystems, restoration ecology and wetlands.

It cannot too frequently be realized that nature is the best teacher and that even in the museum-like arboretum she can give points on arrangement.
