ECOLOGICAL AND GENETIC ISOLATION OF FRAXINUS AMERICANA AND FRAXINUS PENNSYLVANICA - Sylvia Taylor 1972
Morphological differences between Fraxinus americana and the Fraxinus pennsylvanica complex are statistically analyzed. Ecological and life history differences between these species are examined using controlled greenhouse and field trials. Although hybridization is rare, two separate crosses were achieved using Fraxinus americana as the parent tree.
