| The
Peer Advisers for the Michigan Community Scholars Program are
sophomores and juniors at UM. These students help the RA’s
build a strong sense of community, serve as a resource and referral
agent, as well as a role model
to first year students. They can share personal experiences about
the MCSP and life at UM having just experienced this transition
just a year or two before.
The Programming Board Peer Advisers
serve as co-chairpersons of the Programming Board, which is a
student run organization providing social, arts & culture, and
community service events for MCSP students. They assist first year
students who serve as co-chairs, as well as any MCSP member who
wishes to help conduct a program.
