  Since 1995 Cindy Bank has served as a liaison for the University
  of Michigan with Congress, the Administration and national higher education
  associations on policy issues of higher education, immigration, and taxes.
  Prior to joining the University of Michigan she served in the government
  relations departments of Social and Health Services, the Close Up Foundation
  and the Animal Welfare Institute.  She holds a bachelors of science of
  natural resources from the University of Michigan.  Cindy lives in the
  metropolitan Washington, DC with her husband and teenage son.
