David A. Schick comes from a family of UM alumni. David is the oldest son of Thomas (BA '70 in Economics) and Susan (BSN '72 Nursing) and grandson of Frank (PhD in Library Science). David's younger brother Jonathan also attended UM (BBA '00). David spent Lent Term of his junior year at the London School of Economics, and spent summers interning in Washington during college.
David is Managing Director and Equity Analyst in Equity Capital Markets at Stifel Nicolaus. David researches companies, sectors and macroeconomic factors relating to luxury and big-box retail industries. He splits time between the Washington, Baltimore, and New York offices at Stifel Nicolaus.
David enthusiastically supports MIW and would like to see an even greater institutional presence of UM in DC. He lives in Chevy Chase with his wife Abigail and two small (Michigan fan) children.
