Lecturer, Environmental Policymaking
Kathy Wagner, phD, is Director of the Center for Advanced Governmental Studies at Johns Hopkins University. She thoroughly enjoys teaching the MIW elective: Energy, Resource Scarcity and Environmental Policymaking in the Global Economy. Kathy has designed three master's degrees at Hopkins and introduces innovative teaching methods such as videoconference courses with universitites in China and Mexico that connect in real time American, Mexican and Chinese graduate students in joint sessions. Prior to joining Hopkins, she taught at Swarthmore College and was previously a Congressional Fellow in the Office of Technology Assessment and later a policy analyst and project director there. She was the lead editor and contributor of Environmental Management in Healthcare Facilities and is the outhor of several articles on environmental policy making.
