  "Michigan in Washington changed the way that I think about the world. My four months there - especially my internship experience - offered me the opportunity to become an active participant in the immigration debate. I learned who the players are and how policy is really made.  Simply put, I learned how Washington works! I also met wonderful people - smart, ambitious, and passionate about public service.  DC is a special place - full of energy and talent. I know that I will return to Washington one day to relive my MIW memories and to create new ones."  

  Tina is currently working as the College Connections Coordinator for the LSA Development Office.
