The Michigan in Washington Program provides 20-25 undergraduates the opportunity to take classes and intern in Washington D.C. during the Fall or Winter Semesters.  Our students have worked in Congressional offices, federal agencies, private firms and non-profit organizations.  Classes might involve a field trip to a Smithsonian museum or a visit with a White House staff member.  Several students have been offered positions in D.C. at the end of their internships and many of our alumni say that their semester in Washington was the best semester they had at Michigan. We welcome applications from students of all majors.  Applications are due in late September for students going to D.C. in the winter term and in late January for students heading to D.C. in the fall.
