Ways to Support

The Michigan in Washington Program is indebted to the generous gifts from alumni and alumnae and other friends of the University of Michigan.  These contributions help ensure that our program is a success and offers a potentially life-changing opportunity that is truly open to all students of the University of Michigan, regardless of their financial ability.  If you would like to contribute to the Michigan in Washington Program, please contact Edie Goldenberg.

Students select internships according to their interests.  We are compiling a list of internship opportunities -- both paid and unpaid.  If you know of an appropriate internship opportunity, please contact Daniel Magleby.

While a UM grant has provided basic start-up funding, your support is needed to secure office and classroom space; to defray travel, housing, and other expenses for students with financial need; and to provide a variety of cultural activities for interns.
