Since 2005, Dr. Denny Stavros, a long-time supporter of the Modern Greek Program at Michigan, has undertaken a series of annual gifts to the Hatcher Graduate Library that are used for the purchase of rare and unusual materials to enhance the Library's collection in the area of Modern Greek Studies. He has undertaken these gifts to honor Gwendolyn Margrette Stavros, born December 15, 2005, and in memory of her grandmother, Gwendolyn McFerran Stavros (1938-1981), librarian and Philhellene.
