What brought me to UM: I became interested in the NES program because of the emphasis placed on the history and literature of the Second Temple Period, as well as its interdisciplinary opportunities in Greek and Roman History. Additionally, I was introduced to U-M’s Papyrology collection and developed an interest in the production of ancient texts and the Magical Papyri.
