"The Glory of Marcel Proust"

During the days in Ibel, the sun would bring the temperature to around 110 degrees Fahrenheit and life in
the
village seemed to come to a halt. Once the sun set however, many of the village children would gather
and we
would pass
the time together. In the photo, Anna sits surrounded by many of the children as she
reads
to
them by flashlight. The
text is an English translation of Proust, and though none can understand
her,
they are
fascinated by the book
and find great delight in the strange syllables she is pronouncing.
