Study abroad in Salvador da Bahia through the Council for International Education Exchange’s (CIEE) Liberal Arts program. The CIEE program begins with an intensive Portuguese language instruction and a course on contemporary Brazil. For the remainder of the semester, continue with Portuguese language and choose from electives at the Universidade Católica do Salvador. Advanced students may be eligible for exchange programs through the Universidade Federal da Bahia or Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where courses are offered in the arts and humanities.
