12-16 Michigan in-residence credits per term
- Junior or Senior standing
- Minimum 3.0 GPA overall
- Minimum 5 semesters college-level Spanish or equivalent
After a two-week orientation and language course at La Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and finishing by enrolling in regular courses alongside Chilean students. Courses may include, but are not limited to art, geography, history, literature, philosophy, political science, and sociology. Católica also offers minor programs in contemporary Latin American and contemporary Chile to foreign students studying for two terms. (This is not the same as obtaining a minor in Latin American & Caribbean Studies [LACS] at U-M, although some of the Católica courses may fulfill LACS requirements.)
