6 Michigan in-residence credits per term

Administered by Michigan State University. Students are required to enroll for a minimum of six (6) semester credits. All students must choose one four-credit course from the following list for the first portion of the program: Africa – Social Science Perspectives or Multidisciplinary Studies in Ghana (Seminar in Mass Media). A two-credit course, in the second portion of the program, is required for all students (Health Care in Ghana). The program is rounded out with multiple field trips and village-based living.
