6-8 Michigan in-residence credits
The College Year in Athens experience is designed to guide students to a greater understanding and appreciation of Greece—ancient, medieval and modern—and the surrounding region. The summer program consists of two consecutive sessions. Each session is three-weeks long. For each session, students choose one class to study intensively. Both sessions are mandatory for UM students. Courses are available in the areas of Ancient Greek Civilization, Modern Greek Language, Archaeology and History, Service Learning and Anthropology, and Religion.
