15 Michigan in-residence credits per term
Students participating in the Budapest program, administered by the University of California, affiliated with the Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary’s leading institution of higher education. With the exception of the required Hungarian language class, all courses are taught in English. Offerings in the past have included Comparative Political Economy of Eastern and Central Europe; Ethnicity and Rural Life in Historic Hungary; Central European Literature; and Budapest, Vienna, Prague: Urban Society and Culture from the Turn of the Century to the Present. Students will take one Hungarian language course (3 credits), and three other core courses (typically 4 credits each). See UC website for details.
