- Sophomore standing
Students complete an intensive course of study in Irish culture. The program director will teach a 3 credit course on Irish theater. In addition a set of 1 credit “modules” will be offered by Trinity College faculty in the following subjects: history, literature, visual arts, drama, Gaelic culture, and contemporary critical issues. There will be several major day trips and one week of the program will take place at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Throughout the program, the coursework is complimented by a series of cultural events and social activities such as poetry and prose readings, theatre performances, film screenings, and traditional music sessions.
