  • Junior/Senior standing
  • No Korean language prerequisite
  • NOTE: These programs are not open to students with Korean citizenship or who have completed high school in Korea.

Both university programs are designed to introduce Korea in its Asian global setting. Offerings span the social sciences and humanities, and all classes are taught in English by Yonsei and Ewha faculty. Courses include Korean language (elementary to advanced), history, economics, business, literature, art, communication, philosophy, politics, women’s studies, and international relations and students are strongly encouraged to study Korean language. Those with demonstrated language proficiency may elect to attend regular university courses given in Korean.
