6-9 Michigan in-residence credits

• Five semesters of college-level Spanish
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing

Administered by the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC), students enroll in two or three courses offered by the Universidad de Guanajuato’s Escuela de Filosofía, Letras e Historia. All courses are worth 3 credits. Recent offerings have included Culturas Hispanoamericanas, Historia de México, Historia de arte Mexicano, Literatura Mexicana del Siglo XX, Cine y Literatura, Seminario Sobre la Mujer, Lingüística, and Política y Sociedad Mexicanas Contemporáneas.
