16 Michigan in-residence credits per term
Leiden’s special English-language study abroad program offers courses in Dutch culture, government, European politics, administration, and global studies (including interdisciplinary studies on Southeast Asia). In addition, there is a three-week intensive Dutch language course in August and January. Michigan students at Leiden for a full academic year are required to enroll in the language program in August, while Winter term students must participate in the January program.
