This program, shared with the University of California and based at the International University, Moscow, is designed to provide students with the background necessary to understand the changes taking place in Russia today. During the fall term, students with 2 terms of Russian take intensive Russian language and area studies taught in English. Students with 2 years or more of Russian take a 4-week Intensive Language Program in August, after which they take a set of specially-designed language and area studies classes taught by university faculty.
